Last week, Ma Wan was a happening place with Tin Hau's birthday celebration going on for the entire week. I am sure you heard a lot of Chinese Operas during class last week. Me too! So I was curious and last Thursday I went to watch the opera after school.
I am glad that our traditions are still well preserved and practised in this modern time. Chinese Opera is the essence of Chinese culture. Although I also find it boring sometimes, I think it should be preserved and continued. 
There were a lot of people watching the opera, many of them are as old as our parents and grandparents. I found myself the youngest audience there. :P
